New Screenshots Of Windows 7 Leaked To The Web

New Screenshots Of Windows 7 Leaked To The Web
  • Digg del.icio.us reddit Facebook

So it looks like Windows 7 is slowly taking shape; 17 screenshots of what appears to be Vista's successor have surfaced online together with a few dubious tidbits.

According to Winners of Life, an Indian blog, there will be a server version of Windows 7, called Windows Server 7 and both 32-bit and 64-bit versions will be available at launch.

The screenshots point to a number of user interface improvements that seem to be inspired by Apple's OS X Operating System; but be warned that screenshots, especially from relatively unknown websites, have to be taken with a spoonful of salt.

Some eagle-eyed readers have already questioned whether the images are genuine or just a collection of concept pictures.

In particular, there are a number of inconsistencies in the screen captures (e.g. the dates and the layouts do not match) and the profile names appear to be referring to Xazac and AlckO, who are both popular Windows Model builders (see picture below)
