This move will help AOL dispense information, entertainment, and paid-for content services to its web and mobile users; as per a deal signed between the two firms earlier.
In addition to providing key services- including content aggregation, portal designing and ongoing services development- WIN will also incorporate mobile delivery of AOL’s Instant Messenger (AIM) service for UK.
Chris Locke, AOL’s mobile director for Europe, has mentioned the significance of enriching the mobile and web content to lure the new mobile users, and he finds WIN as a quality partner in delivering strong and relevant services.
WIN is already providing its services to some of the key network providers and companies including, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Barclays, BBC, O2, etc and assisting them to set-up an optimized customer service channels.
