HP And Microsoft Introduce Tools To Protect Web Sites From Hackers' Attacks

HP And Microsoft Introduce Tools To Protect Web Sites From Hackers' Attacks
  • Digg del.icio.us reddit Facebook

Since the beginning of 2008 many websites have found themselves the target of hacker’s SQL Injection attacks.

SQL injections attacks caused the visitors to a Website to get directed to sites with malware which greatly compromised the security of their computers.

Microsoft has denied that its software was vulnerable to attacks, but said that it wanted to provide users with tools giving them better protection.

Microsoft and HP have come up with three free tools help identify and block SQL injections attacks.

Scrawlr was created by HP in collaboration with Microsoft, while UrlScan 3.0 Beta and MSCASI were made by Microsoft solely.

All the tools are meant for IT administrators and Web developers.
