Collaboration Tools Are Key To Effective Workflow Within Entreprises says Survey
Today internal teams are demanding effective collaboration and the CTO has to find the appropriate tools that create an environment where his users can collaborate and manage projects effectively.

In a recent Forrester Research survey of 117 professionals, nearly all of the respondents (91 percent) said that delivering collaboration tools to users within the context of the business process is somewhat or extremely important.

Collaboration is an unstoppable trend, as people embrace open social communications and working practises.

However, as these virtual teams use the Internet to support collaboration, it exposes their companies to the websites, operating systems and distributed environments which can often suffer from poor security support and expose them to common attacks.

Also some of the technologies deployed, instead of enabling the individuals and teams, are intrusive and even prevent the flow of ideas and restrict work.
